We are a gate company that specializes in creating a unique passageway into your home or garden.

Who Makes Your Gate?

Your passageway will be designed by Dieuwertje von Aesch.  She has been called "Designer to Watch" in the May 2007 issue of Western Living Magazine.

Each gate receives her focused attention.  She handpicks the wood from a local mill and uses skills such as hand planing to enhance the grain and texture.  The joinery techniques she uses are the same as those found in good quality doors.

She has intensively researched different options for finishing your gate so that the  warmth and beauty of the clear western red cedar can shine through.  Just as important as how they look is how they feel. Her gates have a velvety texture that encourages touch.

We can be reached at 889-2308 or .  We will set up an appointment for Dieuwertje to meet with you in your home.  She will take pictures of your house and garden and find out what your vision is for your passageway.  From this she will develop a customized design that will be presented to you along with an estimate of the costs involved.
